Traditional top-down policy-making is outdated in terms of modern democratic development. Many citizens no longer want to be confronted with the results of politics and administration, they have the desire to actively participate in shaping the future of our city. We would like to contribute to this!
In our first study (2019-2020), we identified over 220 initiatives, associations and organizations that are committed to sustainability, climate protection and climate justice in Aachen and the StädteRegion. Many of these groups have expertise, some of which has been established for decades.
